Ethereum Foundation Welcomes New Co-Executive Leadership
Ethereum Foundation (EF) has announced a leadership shake-up, introducing Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak as co-executive directors.
On March 17, Ethereum’s governance model will undergo a transformation, introducing a more structured framework to guide the network’s evolution.
Hsiao-Wei Wang, a seven-year veteran of the Ethereum Foundation, has made notable contributions to research efforts, particularly in advancing the Beacon Chain. Her commitment to Ethereum extends beyond development—she has been an active organizer of community events in Taiwan, fostering engagement and collaboration. Now stepping into the role of co-executive director, she brings a wealth of experience that bridges both Ethereum’s technical innovations and its guiding principles.
Just as Ethereum continues to evolve, so does the EF—but the core values we have upheld for years remain unchanged,
Wang stated in a post on X.
With a reputation as an innovator in software development, Tomasz Stańczak brings extensive experience from his leadership role at Nethermind. His work in developing a highly reliable Ethereum client has solidified his standing as a key figure in the network’s technological progress, demonstrating both technical excellence and a strategic vision for organizational efficiency.

Accompanying the executive shake-up, former EF researcher Danny Ryan is making his return to the Ethereum space with Etherealize, a project dedicated to strengthening Ethereum’s foothold in institutional finance. This strategic move highlights the network’s commitment to scaling its influence and navigating the next phase of blockchain adoption.
