This initiative is designed to broaden the DeFi ecosystem and offer direct benefits to CAKE holders. They are expected to receive a share of the coins issued by projects following in PancakeSwap's footsteps. Furthermore, these emerging platforms will be required to spend a fraction of their profits on purchasing and burning CAKE tokens.
PancakeSwap plans to bring this proposal to the community for discussion in the upcoming weeks. Pending positive feedback, the exchange will proceed to a formal voting process. Additionally, the exchange's developers have recently made a decision to cap the maximum supply at 450 million CAKE.
