WhiteBIT Announces First Participants for International Crypto Trading Cup 2025

WhiteBIT, Europe’s largest crypto exchange by traffic, has announced the first confirmed participants of the International Crypto Trading Cup 2025 (ICTC), the first live-streamed crypto trading championship.

The tournament will take place on May 9 and 10, 2025. With a live broadcast, viewers will not only follow the battle for the top prize but also gain insights into the strategies of professional traders at each stage of the competition. 

Importantly, this championship aims to blend live entertainment with educational value, creating a unique format designed to benefit individual crypto traders.

The idea for ICTC started as a friendly challenge to compete in crypto trading live. From that spark, our team developed a vision for a global championship that could elevate the industry—one where top world traders will gather on one big stage to showcase their strategies and compete for the title of the world’s best,

The tournament will bring together eight world-class traders, representing regions from Europe to Asia and the Middle East. 

Notably, each participant brings a distinct trading style, extensive experience, and deep market insight. Seven traders were selected based on their reputation and track record in the industry, while the eighth earned a spot by winning a qualifying round held from March 27 to April 7.

Confirmed participants of ICTC 2025 (with one name still under wraps):

• Mauro Caimi: An Italian crypto investor best known for accurately forecasting Bitcoin’s peak in 2021. He is widely respected for his analytical approach and deep market cycle analysis.

• Merlijn The Trader: A Dutch trader specializing in Price Action strategies. He grew his initial capital of $10,000 to over $100,000, secured $1 million in funding, and now leads one of the largest crypto communities in the Netherlands.

• Loza Eugene: A trader with more than ten years of experience across traditional and crypto markets. He is one of the most popular crypto traders by Bitcoin.com and the #1 TradingView author from Ukraine. His approach centers on volume-based reversal strategies and market profiling.

• Malik Roth Klindt Jensen: A UAE-based trader with six years of experience, including two focused on the crypto market. He trades using a proprietary system grounded in ICT principles. One of his key milestones is achieving a 386% return in a single week.

• Muslim Abdullayev: A prominent figure in Kazakhstan’s crypto industry. After losing $200,000 early in his trading career, he rebounded to achieve strong results in copy trading and WSOT tournaments on the Bybit exchange. In 2025, he was recognized as a leading crypto investor in the region.

• Mao Yijing: A trader from China with over five years of experience in crypto trading. She uses ICT-based strategies and consistently delivers strong results, with more than 80% of her trades ending in profit and an annual trading volume of 400 BTC (~$33 million). Her total trading profits have surpassed $2 million.

• Fokeyev Denys: The winner of the ICTC Qualifying Tournament, which attracted more than 1,000 participants from 37 countries. With 15 years of investment experience, he stood out for his high-return strategy focused on WBT, achieving over 500% in gains.

ICTC 2025 goes beyond a traditional trading competition. It introduces a new format that combines real-time competition, market education, and live entertainment, appealing to both seasoned professionals and a wider audience.
