The NFT world is multifaceted and unpredictable. Success in this area depends on a large number of factors, among which social media discussion has a special place. The most famous sales in recent times confirm that.

Notable NFT market sales include the collections of legendary Hollywood actor Anthony Hopkins, jewelry company Tiffany & Co. and the work of 19-year-old novice artist FEWOCiOUS.

A rare NFT from the legendary CryptoPunk collection was sold for 3,300 Ether (ETH), worth over $4.4 million, to an anonymous buyer on September 29.

CryptoPunk #292 became one of the collection leaders in terms of the selling price despite the crypto market volatility. It took 4th place in the Ethereum-value rating and 10th in US dollars.

NFT-House in USA

South Carolina resident Adam Slipakoff became the owner of a real-world home in the NFT format. The investor purchased fully prepared property via an NFT marketplace for $175,000 in October.

It was the first unusual deal for Roofstock onChain, which operates in the Web3 field. Previously, a specialized real estate agency did not sell NFT houses.

The Eternal collection of 1000 NFTs made a splash on the OpenSea marketplace. Art pieces inspired by Anthony Hopkins' decades-long career in Hollywood were sold out in just ten minutes on October 13!

Initially, the trading volume of the collection was 384 ETH (almost $500,000). Hopkins himself called this auction another achievement and thanked all buyers.

American luxury jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. together with CryptoPunks presented 250 original NFTiffs. It took only 22 minutes to completely close the preorders for unique pendants.

Brands fans who bought limited-edition jewelry in August receive jewelry and a branded NFT from Tiffany & Co.. The price of each collection’s element was 30 ETH (approximately $52,000 at the time of sale). The owners will receive ready-made diamond pendants, which are an absolute copy of the tokens, early next year.

Bowie by FEWOCiOUS

The Bowie on the Blockchain collection dedicated to David Bowie was created by nine artists. The work of the youngest 19-year-old artist FEWOCiOUS was sold for 96.5 ETH ($127,000) on October 3.

The original NFT featured a seven-foot-tall sculpture, which has one of Bowie’s custom suits on. Funds from the sale of the token will be donated to the humanitarian organization CARE.
