What is egod?

According to its site, DogeInversed, also known as egoD (EGOD), has been created to guarantee its holders a steady passive income over time thanks to the reflection tax. 

The creators describe it as “a bullish meme created for the community by the community”. It is also hyper deflationary, which guarantees rewards to its holders while decreasing the supply through an autoburn function.

This coin belongs to the class of meme coins.

How do I get one?

Step 1 Convert fiat to BNB

Unlike many other cryptocurrencies, egoD can’t be purchased with fiat money like the U.S. dollar or the Euro.

So, in order to get one, you first need to buy BNB via a crypto exchange. For example, WhiteBit. 

 
In order to do that, download the app via the Apple or Google Store or go to Whitebit.com to create an account. 

Or if you already have one, then just log in and proceed to purchase BNB with your credit card (make sure you have enough funds for that).

Once you’ve done that, you’ll need to convert your BNB into egoD via dedicated platforms such as PancakeSwap, which is a decentralized exchange.

Compared to most classic platforms, including WhiteBit, it does not require you to register an account or go through any KYC process so keep that in mind.

Step 2 Connecting the exchange wallet

As egoD is a BEP-20 token running on Binance Smart Chain, the easiest way to purchase it is to create a Metamask account, unless you already have it, and deposit BNB to it by withdrawing it from your exchange account.

Go to https://metamask.io to either create an account or log in. Keep in mind that if you want to create an account, you’ll need to store your seed phrase safely and offline, for example, by writing them down on a piece of paper.

Once you’ve entered your Metamask account, press the top right button to open your account details and hit the network button. Then type in the following details manually:

Then go back to the crypto exchange where you purchased your BNB. If you did it in WhiteBit, just click on your BNB account and press the withdraw button. Copy the BNB address from your MetaMask account (double-check that you’re using the correct network, i.e Binance Smart Chain (BSC) or BEP20 (BSC), and withdraw the amounts you wish to.

Once you’ve done that, go back to Pancakeswap and connect your Metamask wallet (hit the connect wallet button top right) so that you can swap BNB for egoD. Just choose the combo on the site and the amount you wish to purchase.
