BTC Prague Day 3: Big Names Like Saylor and Back Close Out the Event
June 21 was the last day of BTC Prague 2025, featuring talks from Strategy founder Michael Saylor and cryptographer Adam Back. From start to finish, the conference echoed a clear message: Bitcoin has become a powerful force in finance, with diverse visions for its future.
Michael Saylor's Speech
The vocal Bitcoin advocate walked the audience through Bitcoin’s extraordinary growth and offered a bold prediction: 21 years from now, Bitcoin will have matured into an asset class where it's plausible to generate $21 million in value from a holding, assuming a 21% annual yield, even with 21% volatility. Saylor has been bullish on Bitcoin for years.
However, in his keynote speech, he noted that some developments since last July were unexpected, starting with the White House’s surprisingly crypto-friendly stance. Next, Saylor noted that Bitcoin is outperforming all asset classes this decade, including gold, real estate, and the S&P 500 stock index.
According to Saylor, although pro-crypto developments were expected, having a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the U.S. and a presidential announcement to make America the Bitcoin superpower of the world were remarkable developments. Next, Saylor listed the pro-Bitcoin members of the U.S. administration, including SEC Chairman Paul Atkins, Vice President J.D. Vance, SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, and others.
Wall Street and public companies are increasingly adopting BTC, Saylor pointed out. His company, Strategy, was the first and is currently the largest corporate BTC holder, regularly accumulating Bitcoin since 2020. “People thought we were crazy; I thought we were late,” said Saylor.
Adam Back's Fireside Chat
In a fireside chat with Dominic Frisbey and Madex, Adam Back discussed gold and Bitcoin as payment systems, along with government involvement.
People buy Bitcoin at the price they deserve, – said Back, adding, – I think that the governments deserve to pay $10 million a coin or something… for them, it’s still too early [to buy].
Dominic Frisbey, meanwhile, noted that gold is impractical as a payment system, and Madex jokingly added that Bitcoin is for everyone, but governments should get it last.
Comparing physical gold with digital counterpart, Back emphasized that because new supply is so limited and mining is so difficult, people need to acquire it while they can.
Cypherpunks vs Institutions
One of the key moments on the final day of BTC Prague was a 2-vs-2 debate over the question: Who owns the future of Bitcoin? John Carvalho (Synonym) and Francis Pouliot (Bull Bitcoin) argued that Bitcoin should remain a Cypherpunk movement. In contrast, André Dragosch (Bitwise) and Giacomo Zucco (Plan B Network) believe TradFi also has a role to play in Bitcoin’s future.
André Dragosch noted that no one controls Bitcoin’s supply and questioned the resistance to TradFi’s involvement. “If the protocol is sound, why are we afraid of TradFi guys buying in? It’s like being afraid of the enemy joining your religion,” he said.
Francis Pouliot countered that Cypherpunks are the ones building the tools and services that make holding and spending Bitcoin possible. “The institutions aren’t building anything,” he said, adding that they are merely marketing and reselling BTC rather than creating products real Bitcoiners use. “What the Cypherpunks are doing is infusing their values into their products,” he added.
Final Thoughts: A Tale of Two Bitcoins
BTC Prague 2025 painted a picture of a Bitcoin ecosystem at a crossroads. On one hand, figures like Saylor and Back champion its ascent as a global, institutional-grade asset destined for trillion-dollar valuations. On the other hand, the fiery “Cypherpunks vs. Institutions” debate and Jack Mallers' call for a “peaceful revolution” highlight a powerful grassroots movement focused on self-sovereignty and philosophical principles. The conference made one thing clear: as Bitcoin matures, the biggest question is not if it will succeed, but which of its powerful narratives will define its future.
BTC Prague Wraps Up with a “Thank You” and 2026 Updates
On the final day of the event, BTC Prague dropped a message thanking participants. BTC Prague 2026 will take place from June 11 to 13, with tickets already available.

BTC Prague Day 2: Focus Shifts to Global Problems, AI, and Community Building
The second day of BTC Prague shifted focus from broad ideological statements to in-depth discussions on Bitcoin's practical applications, its role in solving global issues, and the diverse communities building on top of it.
Joe Bryan on Bitcoin as a Solution to Global Crises
One of the day's keynotes came from Joe Bryan, an investment advisor and creator of the “What’s the Problem” YouTube channel. He discussed global challenges like the rising cost of living and wealth inequality, arguing that Bitcoin offers a solution thanks to its core properties of scarcity and durability. According to Bryan, Bitcoin can protect individual wealth and offer fairer access to financial systems.
Community in the Spotlight: The Women of Bitcoin
Day 2 also highlighted the growing role of women in the ecosystem. A photo featuring prominent female participants – including journalist Efrat Fenigson, BTCChick, and Bitcoinerka Zuzka – drew positive attention on social media, showcasing the diverse and inclusive nature of the modern Bitcoin community.
Looking Ahead: Mallers to Close, Saylor Awaits
In an official announcement, organizers confirmed that Jack Mallers, who delivered a powerful keynote on Day 1, will also close the conference on June 21 with a speech titled “The Cost of Our Inheritance.” The community now eagerly awaits the final day, highlighted by the main stage appearance of Michael Saylor.
Mark Moss: AI and Bitcoin Are Essential for Future Businesses
Mark Moss, CEO of Market Disruptors, argued in his keynote that future successful companies must leverage both AI for efficiency and Bitcoin as a primary treasury strategy. Commenting on the “cyberpunks vs. institutions” debate, Moss stated that the point is moot: “It’s not an either/or here,” he said, emphasizing that everyone from individuals to corporations needs to acquire BTC.
BTC Prague 2025 Day 1: Jack Mallers Calls for a “Peaceful Revolution” Amid Scam Warnings
While there is no official livestream, here’s a look at the key highlights from Day 1.
Official Opening: A Message of Mainstream Adoption
Brothers and conference co-founders, Matyas and Martin Kuchars, opened the event with welcoming remarks. They highlighted Bitcoin's explosive growth and its increasing acceptance by traditional institutions and political figures. “It’s very hard to argue against Bitcoin anymore. This year, politicians are talking about it, and institutions are jumping in,” said Matyas Kuchars.
Warning: Fake Livestreams and Giveaway Scams
A major point of discussion on Day 1 was the proliferation of scams targeting the event. AI-generated fake livestreams appeared on YouTube, showing edited footage of figures like Michael Saylor alongside QR codes for fake giveaways promising to double users' bitcoins. BTC Prague organizers issued an official warning on X, reminding attendees that there is no livestream and that all giveaways are fraudulent.

Brothers Matyas and Martin Kuchars opened the conference with welcoming remarks, highlighting Bitcoin’s growth and increasing mainstream adoption.
It’s very hard to argue against Bitcoin anymore. This year, politicians are talking about it, and institutions are jumping in,
said Matyas Kuchars.
Martin Kuchars added that the large number of attendees from around the world is proof of Bitcoin’s strength.
Keynote Highlight: Jack Mallers and the “Peaceful Revolution”
The CEO and founder of the payment app Strike and Bitcoin-native company Twenty One, Jack Mallers, believes it’s the responsibility of the younger generation to drive financial change. He said he no longer owns U.S. dollars and has switched to Bitcoin as a moral and ethical choice. “We didn’t choose what we inherited. This all happened before we were born, but we do get to decide what comes next. Choose ethical money,” Mallers told the audience.
Mallers framed Bitcoin as a generational choice, not political, not military, just math. A movement powered by code, numbers, and belief. In his view, Bitcoin isn’t here to fight; it’s here to fix. He argued that the power of text and large numbers can bring about a peaceful revolution.
Atmosphere and Looking Ahead
While the main stage drew big names and bold statements, the side stages buzzed with in-depth conversations on Bitcoin adoption, regulation, mining, and the future of digital finance. Industry builders, investors, and developers exchanged ideas, debated trends, and shared real-world insights. The more intimate setting of the VIP stage offered attendees a chance to ask questions directly and engage in discussions.
Michael Saylor shared a photo from Prague
Meanwhile, Michael Saylor shared a photo near Charles Bridge, one of Prague’s most iconic landmarks. “Back in the heart of Europe for BTCPrague,” he wrote on X.
He’s set to take the stage on June 21 at 3 PM CET. Saylor’s company, Strategy, is the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin, with 592,100 coins worth over $63 billion at the time of writing.
BTC Prague debuted in 2023 and has since become an annual tradition in the Czech capital. The 2025 edition will take place at the PVA EXPO Praha Letňany and remains strictly focused on Bitcoin.
That means no altcoins, no DeFi, and no NFTs—a perfect fit for Bitcoin maximalists.
According to organizers, the event acts as a catalyst for the movement and a cornerstone for consolidating the global Bitcoin community.
Prague is widely regarded as the heart of crypto-anarchist Europe—a city with deep roots in technological innovation and home to landmark projects like Trezor and Slush Pool. Over time, it has fostered a unique subculture built around digital sovereignty.
