Binance Expands Web3 Payment Options With Apple Pay and Google Pay
Crypto exchange Binance has teamed up with payment services provider Worldpay to allow users to easily buy crypto using Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Binance recently announced the integration of these popular payment options, enabling users to link their credit or debit cards via Apple Pay or Google Pay to directly purchase digital assets through the Binance app or website.
This move is designed to make it easier for users to transition from traditional money to crypto, particularly for those who may find other payment methods cumbersome or confusing.
In a blog post published on April 7, Binance stated that the goal of this integration is to simplify the buying process and enhance accessibility, especially for users unfamiliar with traditional payment methods in the crypto space. According to the Binance team, this integration is just one part of a larger initiative to make crypto more accessible worldwide.
Over the past year, Binance has:
- expanded its fiat services to support over 125 currencies,
- added more than 1,000 payment methods,
- broadened its presence by entering more than 20 new countries, including the addition of mobile money services in several African nations.
The integration of Apple Pay and Google Pay is intended to further support these global accessibility efforts by offering a faster, more intuitive way for users to buy crypto. Instead of manually entering credit card details or relying on third-party services, users can now complete transactions with just a few taps on their mobile devices. This integration is designed to streamline the process, especially in regions where mobile phones are widespread but access to traditional banking services may be limited.

This move is also in line with the broader trend in crypto towards simplifying user experiences to match the ease of regular online shopping. Binance aims to make crypto adoption more accessible and user-friendly by offering familiar, mobile-first payment methods.
Looking ahead, Binance plans to expand its payment options even further. By the end of 2025, the exchange plans to support over 1,000 payment methods and more than 125 fiat currencies, continuing its drive to increase access to crypto around the globe.
Thomas Gregory, VP of Fiat at Binance, commented that the partnership with Worldpay is part of Binance’s ongoing efforts to provide users with more options and smoother access to cryptocurrency through platforms they are already familiar with.
The feature is already live, and users can start using Apple Pay or Google Pay to purchase crypto through the Binance platform right away.
