Ukraines crypto aid: Volodymyr Nosov (WhiteBIT) and Dmytro Kuleba

Ukraines crypto aid: Volodymyr Nosov (WhiteBIT) and Dmytro Kuleba

During a video call, Volodymyr Nosov, the CEO of the crypto exchange WhiteBIT and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba discussed the development of the blockchain and the role of the crypto community in the governmental processes of Ukraine.

As part of aiding Ukraine, the WhiteBIT crypto exchange donated seven autonomous mobile stations to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for consular services to citizens in hotspots.

For two years, I have been a Minister, and for two years, I have been trying to implement this project to improve the quality of work of consuls. Finally, together, we were able to make it happen. It was my “big dream”, so to speak. I have always believed that it is necessary to increase the mobility and quality of the services the Ministry provides.

Dmytro Kuleba noted.

According to him, this assistance is the most relevant now since many Ukrainians found themselves in difficult conditions, standard procedures would delay the process too much, and obtaining the necessary papers would take weeks.

Now, instead of making a request, which is processed by the ministry and then sent back, while sometimes the consul does it in person, it is enough to use this equipment, and that’s it. I am glad that WhiteBIT became reliable partners in this matter, and we received these diplomatic bags.

Dmytro Kuleba said.

Also, during the live broadcast, the role of blockchain in the future of Ukraine, the assistance that the crypto community provides to the country in a difficult period, the further development of the global economy and diplomacy, as well as the problems of physical interaction between people in the metaverses, were discussed.

Volodymyr Nosov noted the need for more open interaction between the state and people. In his opinion, today in Ukraine, there is a high degree of support for the army, government, and government agencies. The support is provided at all levels, including the blockchain community.

From the first days of the war, I see how the country’s crypto community is uniting to help both at the front and in other parts of Ukraine. People who have never dealt with this, who know nothing about body armor or have never collected a soldier’s first-aid kits, create communities, scale, and provide all the necessary support. Right now, we can observe how, with the help of the crypto industry, it is possible to implement the necessary projects and provide assistance.

Volodymyr Nosov said.

Dmytro Kuleba noted that now in Ukraine, due to the interaction of the crypto industry and the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there is an active development of digital technologies, and in many ways, Ukraine is ahead of some European states. According to him, he was glad when WhiteBIT announced its integration with the Ukrainian public services portal “Diia”.

Blockchain will rewrite the history of humankind. Since you are the flagship of this, you must understand where you lead humankind. This is a topic that needs to be talked about a lot.

the minister said.

Volodymyr Nosov, in turn, noted that today, the role of blockchain in the global economy and diplomacy had reached a new level, and compared to the past decade, its influence has increased significantly.

In addition, the speakers discussed the role of metaverses in the future of humanity, how people will interact with each other while online, and how society is changing along with the development of the blockchain. One of the urgent issues was how people reproduce if they are entirely immersed in the network, as well as the problems of the new generation and its attitude to sex. It was not without the ubiquitous delivery services, which will have to serve many more orders and bring products and things not at the door, but directly into clients' hands. It remains to be seen who will deliver orders, procreate, and live the old-fashioned way and who will spend time inside the metaverses.

At the end of the conversation, Volodymyr Nosov noted that WhiteBIT would continue to support Ukraine and the Armed Forces.

We are here, we are here for you and will always help. Not in the metaverses, but here and now.

said WhiteBIT's CEO.

It should be noted that the WhiteBIT exchange, in addition to assistance with special equipment, helps the consular service of Ukraine in the countries where the company has representative offices, supports the anti-crisis center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a 24-hour call center for providing advice to Ukrainian citizens forced to leave the country due to the Russian invasion. In addition, the WhitePay platform, whose parent company is WhiteBit, from the first days of the war with the Russian Federation, organized a fundraiser in cryptocurrencies to help Ukraine.
