Google Launches Veo 3 for AI Pro Subscribers Worldwide

Veo 3 launches globally with text-to-video, lip-sync, and sound capabilities to all AI Pro users on the web and mobile.
Google launched its Veo 3 video generation model for AI Pro subscribers worldwide. The service is now available in 159 countries through the Gemini app, with users able to create three videos per day.
Josh Woodward, vice president of Google Labs and the Gemini app, personally announced the global launch. The rollout includes India, Indonesia, and all European countries. Subscribers can access Veo 3 through both mobile and web versions of Gemini.
The AI Pro subscription costs $19.99 per month. Subscribers can generate up to three 720p video clips daily using text prompts. After reaching the daily limit, the system switches to the previous Veo 2 model.
The new model creates eight-second videos with synchronized audio. The audio includes dialogue, background noise, and ambient sounds. The model incorporates real-world physics and accurate lip-syncing in its video outputs.
Veo 3 became the first version to generate synchronized audio tracks alongside visuals. DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis described the launch as the moment when AI video generation left the era of silent films.
Google also offers “Fast” generations that run twice as quickly as standard Veo 3 processing. The company introduced these serving optimizations in June 2025. The faster processing applies to the daily quota of three videos.
The developers are working on photo-to-video capabilities, which will convert still images into motion sequences. Google first introduced Veo at I/O in May 2024 as an experimental text-to-video model. The original version could produce 1080p clips longer than a minute but without synchronized audio or the realism Veo 3 now delivers.
At I/O 2025, Google also unveiled Imagen 4 for image synthesis and Flow for video editing as part of its multimodal creative services. At that time, the company introduced a new premium tier, Google AI Ultra, at $249.99 per month in addition to the existing AI Pro plan.
