Solana Mobile, the consumer hardware arm of Solana Labs, introduced a wave of new developments for its mobile ecosystem. Among them:
- The launch of TEEPIN, a three-layer decentralized architecture;
- The introduction of its SKR token;
- And a confirmed August 4, 2025 shipping date for its new Seeker crypto smartphone.
With 150,000+ preorders across 57 countries, and an early pricing offer of $500, Solana Seeker signals strong global interest and builds upon the foundation laid by the original Solana Saga device.
TEEPIN’s 3-Layer Decentralized Stack
The TEEPIN project — short for Trusted Execution Environment Platform Infrastructure Network — introduces a three-tier decentralized model:
- Hardware;
- Platform;
- Network.
Together, they establish a trustless coordination framework where users, developers, and hardware providers can interact securely — eliminating the need for centralized intermediaries.
TEEPIN represents the next evolution in mobile — a framework where trust isn't granted by a central authority but verified through cryptography,
said Anatoly Yakovenko, CEO and co-founder of Solana Labs.
The network taps into hardware security modules embedded in smartphones, using onchain coordination to manage access. This unlocks a new wave of device innovation from third-party manufacturers.
TEEPIN enables broader hardware interaction by allowing device manufacturers to seamlessly integrate into the Solana Mobile ecosystem. This opens the door for a new generation of crypto-native smartphones with secure enclaves and unified data protocols.

SKR Token: Platform Economy
Solana’s native SKR token will act as a growth catalyst, designed to reward active users, developers, and OEMs. The token distribution supports a community-driven ownership model, where value flows back to those building and participating in the ecosystem.
Aligning incentives is essential to building a truly decentralized and self-sustaining mobile ecosystem,
said Emmett Hollyer, General Manager of Solana Mobile. He described SKR as a shift away from traditional platform models, offering users and partners actual rights in the ecosystem.
While token distribution details remain under wraps, the press release affirms that SKR will be fundamental to network participation and the scaling of new device integrations.

Seeker: Launch and Features
Solana Mobile’s new flagship, Seeker (codenamed Chapter Two), follows the April 2023 launch of the Saga smartphone. The first units will ship on August 4, 2025, with preorders already surpassing 150,000 across global markets.
Seeker includes major enhancements like the Seed Vault secure hardware storage, the Genesis Token, and new identity and wallet tools — Seeker ID and Seed Vault Wallet. It also ships with an upgraded Solana dApp Store, offering smoother access to Web3 applications.
The original Solana Saga struggled at launch but became a sellout by late 2023, thanks to renewed demand driven by memecoins and exclusive airdrops that turned the device into a valuable asset.
