Trabzonspor signs jersey sponsorship agreement with WhiteBIT
This week is full of surprises for crypto enthusiasts, WhiteBIT fans in particular. After successfully listing the $WBT token, which multiplied portfolio values for many users, WhiteBIT signed a sponsorship agreement with the Turkish football club, Trabzonspor.
The statement from the official website of the burgundy-blue club revealed that the 3-year sponsorship agreement starts from the 2022-2023 season. “According to the agreement, WhiteBIT is paying 4 million 500 thousand euros for the contract,” it said.

Trabzonspor is a professional Turkish sports club located in the city of Trabzon. It is one of the most recognizable clubs in Turkey. Their team won six Süper Lig titles and was the first non Istanbul-based club to win the league. They have also won eight Federation Cup (Turkish Cup) titles.
It's not the only FC affiliated with WhiteBIT. We have recently reported that WhiteBIT and FC Barcelona were at the final stages of signing a sponsorship agreement, which would allow the exchange to place its logo on the sleeve of FC Barcelona's uniform.
