Trump Media Eyes Utility Token and Crypto Wallet Launch

Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) plans to launch a utility token for subscription payments to Truth+, its streaming service arm.
Trump Media, which operates Truth Social, Truth.Fi, and other products, is exploring a utility token within a Truth crypto wallet as part of a rewards program.
According to a shareholder letter from CEO and chairman Devin Nunes on April 28, Truth+ is considering various monetization methods, including ads and a subscription package.
As part of a rewards program, we’re exploring the introduction of a utility token within a Truth digital wallet that can initially be used to pay for Truth+ subscription costs, and later be applied to other products and services in the Truth ecosphere,
Davis said in the latter.
In its forward-looking statements, Trump Media outlines plans to expand its current products and services while diversifying into new sectors. The company’s strategy includes investing up to $250 million in Bitcoin and similar crypto assets or products.
Devin Nunes’ letter was released ahead of TMTG’s annual shareholder meeting, scheduled for April 30. TMTG was founded in 2021 and went public in March 2024 under the ticker symbol DJT. According to the letter, the company added $777 million in cash reserves in 2024.
In January 2025, Trump Media launched Truth.Fi, its newest brand focused on financial services and technologies. Recently, the company announced a partnership with Crypto.com and Yorkville to launch a series of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) combining crypto assets with energy-sector stocks.
The first two Truth.Fi products are expected to launch by the end of 2025. They follow an America-first strategy, focusing on U.S.-based companies and assets.
Looking ahead, TMTG plans to expand and continue its America-first agenda, investing in tools and platforms that reflect its political and economic priorities.
