Chiliz: Project Overview

The project's main platform is Socios.com, where users can exchange CHZ for fan tokens of soccer clubs and other sports teams. Chiliz collaborates with FC Barcelona, AC Milan, PSG, Napoli, the UFC fighting promotion, the Italian and Argentine soccer teams, the cybersports team NAVI, and many others. The famous Argentinian football player, Lionel Messi, is a global brand ambassador of the platform. 

Fan tokens give a number of advantages to Socios.com users. They can influence team decisions by voting, make predictions on sports events, take part in in-app events for rewards and valuable prizes. Users and token holders are also the first to know about news and announcements and have priority rights to get match tickets.

What do you need to do before you begin?

Step 1: Buy CHZ tokens on a crypto exchange or other marketplace (crypto exchanges ranked by Coingecko);

Step 2: Download Socios.com from the Android or iOS app store;

Step 3: On the registration page, enter your email address, phone number and create a password;

Step 4: Transfer CHZ coins to your internal wallet, and exchange them for your favorite team's token inside the app;

In the future, you can participate in events, vote, make decisions and earn scores, which can be later exchanged for rewards.

You can then exchange your tokens for gifts, such as a meeting with your favorite team, branded merchandise signed by the players, tickets, and VIP tickets for the biggest games, and other rewards.

The CHZ native token is built on Chiliz Chain's own blockchain. The average block time is 5 seconds and transactions are free of charge for all users. The network uses the Proof-of-Authority (PoA) consensus algorithm. It is a variant of Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism, where only “selected” network members with the highest reputation can be selected as validators. In fact, the entire blockchain is served by only 7 masternodes (validator nodes), which are the property of the company and its partners.

CHZ also runs on Ethereum and some other blockchains through an integrated bridge.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 will be played on November 18, 2022. This event has already sparked the growth of CHZ and some other fan tokens. Since mid-summer, CHZ has jumped 200%, demonstrating excellent dynamics against the backdrop of a declining crypto market.
