How to Play Bit Hotel? Exploring the Gaming Metaverse

As the adage goes, ‘Everything old is new again.’ That’s why, amid the games with hyper-realistic graphics and mesmerizing fantasy realms, the pixel-art-driven project Bit Hotel is making waves.

On this page

Bit Hotel seamlessly blends elements that players cherish: a sprawling metaverse, enticing NFTs, a rewarding Play-to-Earn approach, uninhibited interactions with fellow players, and the evergreen charm of the 8-bit design. The creators believe these ingredients will redefine the gaming blockchain sector.

Bit Hotel is here to provide the world with a community-owned social ecosystem, where every single Hotel guest plays their part in laying its foundation. Whether it's community owned events such as NFT auctions, Role-playing events or other creative get-togethers, Bit Hotel will enable all users to find their muse,

Bit Hotel paints a vivid picture of a gaming metaverse, teeming with characters, rooms, furniture, and a myriad of NFT artifacts, each with its own level of uniqueness. These can not only be traded within the game but also have a presence in the broader marketplace.

Every collectible in the game offers unique opportunities for players:

  • Characters engage with other denizens of the gaming metaverse. They take part in mini-games, forge friendships, and can even form relationships. Interestingly, these relationships come with bonuses.
  • Rooms serve as venues for public events, artistic meetings, and both PvP/PvE and role-playing gaming experiences.
  • Furniture isn't just decorative — it has utility in games, in tournaments, and during AMA sessions that are hosted by the DAO.

The team behind Bit Hotel believes their platform offers an authentic and user-friendly experience. It caters to players looking to have a good time, earn some rewards, or simply relive some nostalgia.

How to get started in Bit Hotel?

If you're keen on joining this game metaverse, you'll need to:

  • Connect your crypto wallet.
  • Get the in-game currency of Bit Hotel (BTH).
  • Secure Binance Coin (BNB) for trading game items.

Once you're registered, you're welcomed into the hotel's grand lobby. It's an immersive space featuring elegant design, plush furnishings, soft jazz playing in the background, mingling guests, and entrances to different areas of the game.

Hotel Rooms

To explore the rooms of Bit Hotel, head to the elevator. Here, you'll be provided with a room catalog, showcasing a variety of options ranging from minimalist studios to luxurious penthouses. This is the central hub of the gaming metaverse, serving several purposes:

  • A personal space for placing NFT furniture and a source of pride.
  • A venue for social interactions, hosting exhibitions, auctions, parties, events, establishing casinos, and more.

There are two main strategies for leveraging these spaces. In one, you can retain it as your personal haven or spearhead any social events. Alternatively, you can lease the space to others.

The various spaces within the hotel differ in four primary aspects: rarity, design, game area size, and the guests they can host. Each of these influences potential earnings. Understandably, larger rooms can house more furniture and guests, promising a substantial income to the owner. And if these rooms happen to be of super rare or epic varieties, the owner is poised for a prosperous future (though it's never a guarantee).

Task Board

For those who lean more towards the gaming side of the project, there's a task board. It displays a variety of quests, ranging from mini-games to mingling with fellow hotel guests.

How often you visit this board is up to you, but remember that completing tasks daily may earn you an epic loot box at the end of the week.

Arcade

The Arcade is designed for those who love mini-games. Whether you're diving into single-player or multiplayer challenges, including those developed by other community members, you can earn in-game tokens and ascend the leaderboards.

Store

With the native Bit Hotel Tokens (BTH) and the reward tokens, Bit Hotel Tickets, users have the chance to purchase a variety of items from different categories.

It's important to be strategic: the store features a rotating selection of items every week, and certain items might be available for only one of the two in-game currencies. The developers highlight the need for judicious spending.

Currently, Bit Hotel operates in beta-testing mode. According to their projected roadmap for 2023-2024, the game is set to unveil numerous exciting features, such as in-game voice chat, major tournaments, hackathons, and a potential listing on CEX.
