KPR NFT: A Game-Changer or Just Eye-Catching Art?

KPR represents a digital assembly of character art in NFT format, high in quality. The team envisions it as a brand of the future for a decentralized open world, emphasizing collaborative creativity.

The brains behind the project are aficionados of fantasy universes, particularly Marvel, and have the ambition to craft a similar high-caliber product that can continue to enthral fans for generations to come. Thus, KPR's artists dedicate significant time to visual styling, colour schemes, and other fine details, aiming for the most professional outcome possible. This dedication extends beyond the collection and additional visuals to the official website, which in itself can confidently be termed a masterpiece. It offers superior graphic and sound effects, coupled with an interactive exploration of the project, justifying its victory in the ‘Sites Of The Year 2022' award by Awwwards.

This accomplishment is attributable to two anonymous founders, who formerly headed the product at TreasureDAO and multiple DeFi applications. They've brought together a top-tier team for their vision, seeking out individuals with extensive experience across various domains like blockchain, technology, arts, design, and so on, to deliver on their ambitious concept in the best way possible. Consequently, they've succeeded in creating a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs, derived from hand-drawn elements (over 400 variations), offering the status of ‘keeper' and the chance to navigate through the digital world. Prices on the market currently start from 0.07 ETH.

However, the team hasn't yet unveiled a beta version of the product, providing only a handful of beneficial features for NFT holders: achievements (scarce badges) and a passport to New Eden (the name of their virtual world). This passport offers access to exclusive skins and real-world KPR events where users can engage with leading artists from across the globe.

While all of these offerings are quite intriguing, there's a lingering sense that the developers are concentrating too heavily on the project's marketing and visual presentation, with the rest of the development process lagging behind.

The collection was introduced in November 2022. The anime-inspired style initially received some criticism, but it rapidly gained the affection of users, sparking significant excitement within the Ethereum network. Unfortunately, the initial fervor waned due to a lack of significant updates, leading to a subsequent reduction in trading volume. Despite the team's continued efforts and their success in attracting new artists, they need to invest more time in the project's practical applications; otherwise, it risks becoming nothing more than a pretty collection.
