Top Crypto Analysis Platforms

In the ever-changing world of cryptocurrencies, where assets are subject to strong price fluctuations and every third project can pull the rug out from under an investor’s feet, it’s useful to have a set of tools on hand for independent research.

On this page

These tools can be found on platforms for the crypto analysis, which provide a solid foundation, facilitate forecasting, and enable more confident trading decisions. Let's take a closer look at the most popular options.

Glassnode

Glassnode's analytical platform empowers users to customize a dashboard that offers visual representations of data extracted from specific blockchain queries. For example, one could validate the precise number of ETH tokens withdrawn from staking or the quantity of active addresses on UniSwap. Alternatively, users can delve into the prefabricated information panels that proffer insights on new addresses and transactions, the variation of BTC block sizes, circulating cryptocurrency supply at different points in time, and beyond.

The platform further provides a broad array of futures charts for ETH and BTC, enabling users to predict the future value of the main drivers of the cryptocurrency market. With the use of these tools, users can access information like credit leverage parameters, the number of long and short positions, and the percentage payout for transactions.

Glassnode publishes detailed cryptocurrency reports and releases its own blockchain network analysis every week, enabling users to assess the market situation. The website also provides numerous other charts for market analysis, such as network activity, the number of addresses based on different criteria, and investor sentiment.

Glassnode additionally provides the added feature of linking notifications to a broad spectrum of market conditions. Nevertheless, its primary limitation is the narrow array of assets accessible for evaluation.

Tariffs:

  • Free: access to basic BTC and ETH charts and data;
  • Advanced version: $29 per month for additional tools for detailed analysis;
  • PRO: $799 per month for access to all historical data and more advanced metrics.

Messari

One of the platform's most highly valued features is its advanced screener, which tracks and sorts cryptocurrencies according to 170 filters. However, it works best for assets that have high liquidity and a strong market position.

Messari also allows users to explore hundreds of fundamental charts, including trading volume, volatility, a cryptocurrency project's social media metrics, and market bubble indicators, to name a few.

In addition to graphical data, the resource provides access to other types of information, including important news, investment details, and project descriptions.

Expert analysis and financial reports on various projects are also published on the analytical platform's website.

Tariffs:

  • A free version with a limited number of charts;
  • The advanced plan, which requires a one-time payment of $30 per month or $25 per month if paid annually. This plan comes with additional charts, the ability to create personalized screeners, access to public screeners from other users, and exclusive materials.

Dune

Dune is focused solely on the decentralized finance and NFT sectors, making it best suited for those with programming skills.

A platform offers a means to extract any desired information from public blockchains by creating queries using SQL programming language. Although this technical aspect may not be accessible to all, Dune provides public dashboard panels on its website that feature a range of obtained information. Among the data presented, users may find what they are looking for without the need for extensive programming knowledge.

Tariffs:

  • Free plan (a constrained amount of searches and open data storage in indicator panels with visual graphs and diagrams);
  • Thug Life plan ($420 per month) (generation of 2000 queries, which are executed four times faster, plus 10 private statistical panels);
  • Elite plan ($1337 per month) (queries executed eight times faster, 4000 orders, and 100 private dashboards).

Santiment

The platform is a versatile and comprehensive tool that boasts a cryptocurrency screener, accompanied by thematic dashboard panels that artfully depict blockchain data. Additionally, it offers separate charts and diagrams for analyzing a range of market characteristics and exclusive insider information from the Santiment team, providing traders with an all-encompassing toolkit.

Certain thematic dashboard panels display statistics related to Ethereum staking pools, decentralized exchanges, stablecoins, and the Uniswap protocol.

Users can also set up alerts for changes in the market on the platform. Some of the pre-defined conditions for notifications include:

  • BTC rising or falling by 10%;
  • 6% decrease in active ETH addresses;
  • Cardano, The Sandbox, and Flux trending;
  • a 3% increase in XRP, and more.

Additionally, the platform offers a function for tracking asset statistics by category. These include stablecoins, DeFi, NFTs, ERC-20 tokens, metaverses, memecoins, and users can also create their own list.

In addition to the aforementioned features, Santiment also offers an “Academy” section, where users can find guides on analyzing tools and metrics, explanations of unfamiliar terms, and information on all the products and unique features of the platform.

Tariffs:

  • Free plan (provides access to all sections with limited tools, but the data may lag behind the actual market situation);
  • Pro plan for a one-time payment of $49 per month or $44 per month if paid annually (grants access to all charts and functions, enables the creation of personalized screeners, dashboards, and signals).

TradingView

TradingView is a platform favored by many technical traders due to its extensive collection of indicators, which can be applied to charts across a range of assets and employed in cryptocurrency trading. Moreover, TradingView is well-regarded for its capacity to simulate strategies using historical data and develop bespoke indicators for trading via the Pine programming language.

Other features include a decent cryptocurrency screener, a calendar of important events, and a knowledge base consisting of articles and videos related to trading.
