New Clicker Games on Telegram

Hamster Kombat has long ruled the clicker game world, but 2024 has introduced some compelling new competitors. Even as the hamster fights valiantly, its reign may soon come to an end. Let’s take a look at some notable alternatives.

Beyond the well-known Notcoin, which has drawn in 35 million users, there are several conceptually similar projects worth noting.

Catizen

For those seeking more than just mindless screen tapping, Catizen could be an appealing choice. Unlike traditional clickers, this game introduces mechanics akin to popular puzzle games like “Threes” or “2049”. Players need to match identical cats to earn rewards in FISH tokens. Upgrading cats, creating unique pairs, and breeding kittens add layers of strategy and engagement to the gameplay. This approach enriches the game experience, drawing inspiration from the legendary CryptoKitties—the pioneering giant in NFT and GameFi sectors.

Catizen is quickly becoming a sensation. Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, has personally endorsed the new game. At a cryptocurrency forum in Dubai, he showcased the clicker game and announced a special TON token airdrop for players whose virtual cats have reached level 150.

However, you can't level up your cats in the game without further investments.

According to the game developers, the active player count has now surpassed 20 million. The Catizen team is actively enhancing the project, with a staking function already available for cat owners of level 120+. They are also planning to launch the game on the L2 Mantle network, which is expected to improve its speed and scalability.

The Catizen developers also show a commitment to social responsibility by allocating 1% of their revenue to help homeless cats. Everyone loves cats, right?

X Empire

X Empire is more than just a game; it's an attempt to create an interactive biography of one of today's most influential entrepreneurs, Elon Musk. The project gives players the unique chance to immerse themselves in the world of technological innovations, space exploration, and entrepreneurship as they build their virtual empire.

Unlike typical clickers, X Empire offers a dynamic gameplay experience where users can influence not just the game’s economy but also the personal attributes of their “Elon Musk,” enhancing his intelligence and entrepreneurial skills.

Team play is recommended in X Empire. Collaborating with other players and achieving shared goals makes the gameplay more engaging and varied.

The game closely relates to space technology and research, mirroring the real-life interests of Elon Musk. It is likely to attract those who admire the life and achievements of this notable entrepreneur.

As with Hamster Kombat, the game's economic objective is to earn virtual V coins, which can be used to develop the virtual character. The amount of coins a player earns depends on their activity, such as completing daily quests, viewing advertisements, and inviting friends.

Players can improve Musk’s qualities like “critical thinking” and “empathy.” Interestingly, these are precisely the traits sometimes perceived as lacking in the entrepreneur.

Although the game is not officially connected to the founder of Tesla, over 5 million Telegram users have already signed up.

The option to connect a personal wallet to the app is now available, with a future token airdrop (expected around September-October) and a listing on prominent exchanges also announced.

PixelTap

PixelTap is a traditional clicker game developed by Pixelverse, featuring RPG elements. It's part of a broader initiative to craft a vast cyberpunk universe dedicated to exploration and development. This project serves as a “sandbox,” allowing players to grasp basic game mechanics and earn initial in-game resources that will prove valuable later. The game primarily appeals to players who enjoy strategic planning and long-term character development.

Available on both desktop and mobile platforms, the gameplay revolves around tapping on a smartphone screen or clicking a mouse to accumulate in-game coins. These coins are used to purchase and enhance pets, which then compete in PvP battles.

Distinct from Catizen and X Empire, PixelTap operates on the Ethereum blockchain. Following its initial release, Pixelverse introduced its PIXFI token and integrated the game with Telegram, continuing to enrich players with additional points, airdrops, and referral bonuses in USDT.
