Metamorphoses: a conceptual NFT collection
Metamorphoses is a fashion-art NFT collection by Concept2048 that was created in a non-generative manner (without the use of AI algorithms). It is made up of 2048 enigmatic portraits of Envoys of the Universe.
The majority of non-fungible tokens are represented on the Ethereum network, with the remainder on the TON blockchain. The collection is presented as a polyptych of hand-made photographs divided into sections. Some of the fragments were on display for the first time at the 59th Venice Art Biennale at Palazzo Mora.

NFTs are created for collectors and connoisseurs of contemporary art who are concerned about environmental, humanitarian and other global problems of mankind. “I am a ray of light sent to Earth by the Universe. I was sent here to glean why the Earth has dimmed and why its pulsating glow weakens with every passing day,” such a description can be found under each NFT of the Metamorphoses collection.

It seems that the rays of light were sent to Earth to guide people in choosing the best course of action for the survival of the planet and to prevent humanity from perishing, which could happen in 2048.
The faces of Envoys are covered with an unusually shaped cloth, and only one ear helps them understand what is going on. The characters have a heightened worldview thanks to their inner senses, making them extremely sensitive to the vibrations of the planet and its needs.
Special focus was placed on the NFT's coloring. In choosing options, the creators took inspiration from color psychology and from Aristotle's theory of color perception. They also relied on the natural element assigned to the hero.
