Shin Hyun-sung Prepares for Court Battle
Shin Hyun-sung, Terra co-founder, has formed a substantial defense team of around 30 people in preparation for his trial. The team includes numerous lawyers, some of whom specialize in coin and capital market law. Park Hyung-cheol, the former anti-corruption secretary of the Blue House, is also part of the defense.

An 11-lawyer group has joined from a law firm, which recently recruited a prosecutor from the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office, responsible for investigating the Terra and Runa incidents. The prosecutor who previously investigated Shin will now defend him at the law firm.
As the first case in Korea to prosecute cryptocurrency as ‘securities,' a fierce legal battle is expected. The first trial for the ‘Terra's gang' is set for the 26th. Shin maintains that he only attempted a groundbreaking project and will clarify the prosecution's misunderstandings during the trial.
