Notably, $9,000 of the raised funds were frozen by stablecoin issuer Tether, with an additional $2,000 frozen after being sent to a crypto exchange.
Elliptic stated that it reached out to the WSJ to correct a statement that the terrorists have been receiving millions in donations.
