Tokenized
securities are viewed as traditional securities within a tokenized
framework, and existing securities market regulations apply.
The
SFC also requires licensed trading platforms to have a compensation
arrangement for the loss of security tokens, with the possibility of
exemptions on a case-by-case basis.
