SBF’s Courtroom Sketches that Will Puzzle You

SBF’s Courtroom Sketches that Will Puzzle You

SBF never looked this professional. Let’s check out his courtroom sketches.

On this page

SBF’s trial is full of twists and turns – and rarely are they disappointing. Just recently, the man, who is, according to some observers, so unusual, threw under the bus his former girlfriend and CEO of Alameda research Caroline Ellison.

He claimed that Ellison did not listen to his advice that Alameda should “get shorter” to mitigate its risks and shrink its multi-billion-dollar hole.

However, the internal feuds and grudges between FTX, Alameda Research, and all the friends, lovers, and family involved are not the focus of today’s article.

Rather, we’d like to focus on SBF’s sketches that we found on the web (it is not allowed to take pics in American courtrooms). Let’s examine them.

Jack drawing Rose?

The first one is by Coindesk that depicts SBF in a rather bizarre manner, especially the face and his left arm. Maybe that’s how the artist sees SBF, we don’t know, but what we do know is that this picture has very strong vibes to it…that of Titanic’s Jack and Rose.

Yes, this is exactly what we’re talking about. Does Jack even draw in this situation? Yes, he does. The question is: does he care about the quality in this meme? Probably not so much.

Mr Lincoln, it’s me, SBF

Yet, the sketch above isn’t the only bizarre depiction of the fallen crypto mogul. Here is another one where SBF has a slight resemblance with the 16th US President Abraham Lincoln.

The outfit combined with what looks like a beard is spot on. That is, if we factor out the missing eyes. But who cares? Pupils are overrated anyway.

SBF, the Netflix version

If there’s one thing we didn’t quite understand in the two sketches below is why SBF, who’s a white man raised in a Jewish family, has suddenly turned a darker shade.

We don’t want to ask too many questions in a currently highly-sensitive social environment but we still feel like we’re dealing with something like Jada Pinkett’s not-so-historically-accurate Cleopatra portrayal. A+ for the technique though!

Khan-Khan, SBF-Khan

This is our final pick, and let us tell you something: we are no less confused than you.

We understand the importance of an artistic vision and fully respect it. But why suggest that SBF, who, as we wrote above, a white man raised in a Jewish family, has distinct Asian features, possibly of Mongolian descent, shall remain a mystery. Again, A+ for the quality. Nice technique.
