USDT's market capitalization has reached approximately $91 billion, with Tether increasing its excess reserves by ~$4 billion in 2023.
Over recent years, Tether has not only supported several companies but also co-founded various projects. These include Holpunch (a platform for creating P2P apps), Synonym (a company focusing on BTC-related development), Northern Data (a company engaged in the field of artificial intelligence), and Tether Energy (a company constructing BTC mining facilities).
In 2024, Tether has plans to launch several new products and consolidate existing ones.
Paolo Ardoino was appointed as Tether's CEO in October 2023, having previously served as the company's Chief Technical Officer.
