The Ethereum Name Service (ENS) has entered into a partnership with GoDaddy, the global leader in domain registration. This initiative paves the way for users to seamlessly link their conventional Web2 domains to Ethereum names, all at zero extra cost.
GoDaddy has enhanced its user interface by adding a dedicated section for this purpose. After configuring their domain names, users can utilize them as alternatives to Ethereum addresses across a variety of Web3 applications, including digital wallets, blockchain explorers, and NFT marketplaces.
This minor yet impactful event marks another stride towards crypto mass adoption, reflected in the approximate 7% increase in the ENS token value post-announcement.
