Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of SkyBridge, has voiced his concerns regarding the crypto community's perceptions of the current presidential candidates.
He highlighted that Trump labeled Bitcoin as a scam in 2022, and his administration held a hostile stance towards digital assets. On the other hand, Harris has shown openness to cryptocurrency, though she opted not to speak at the Bitcoin Conference.
Scaramucci also noted that Gensler would be ousted and Senator Warren would be removed from financial issues, calling for the crypto community to maintain a bipartisan approach.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also shared his views on X.
VP Harris is no stranger to Silicon Valley & has an incredible opportunity to provide a reset on critical issues for US competitiveness (like crypto regulation).
I’ll keep an open mind for now – but also agree that if she uses the same Elizabeth Warren-like rhetoric, then she has miscalculated the political liability that is Gary Gensler.
