Binance has officially announced the 60th project on its Launchpool featuring Scroll (SCR). Pre-market trading for the token will start on October 11.
SCR will be the first token on Binance’s Pre-Market after the new section was announced in late September 2024.
Scroll Launchpool Details:
- Date: October 9-10, 2024 (2-day duration)
- Rewards: 55 million SCR (5.5% of the total supply)
- Pre-Market Listing: October 11
- Total Circulating Supply at Listing: 190 million (19% of the total supply)
- Farming Tokens: BNB (85% of rewards) and FDUSD (15%)
While no specifics have been provided regarding the Scroll airdrop, the crypto community is already reacting with frustration, as the project allocated 5.5% of the total tokens to Binance Launchpool. With only 19% of the tokens in circulation at launch, this means airdrop participants may only receive up to 13.5% of the total token supply (assuming all tokens are unlocked at the Token Generation Event).
There could be a higher allocation for the airdrop if the team introduces a longer vesting period for Scroll activity participants.
Scroll (SCR) has been available for trading on AEVO’s Pre-Market since September 23.
Following Binance’s announcement, SCR surged by 28%, with the token currently priced at $1.66.

However, the Scroll futures contract on AEVO has low liquidity, leading to large spreads in the order book and price gaps on the chart due to periods of inactivity.
For now, it’s recommended to use limit orders and follow strict risk management practices when trading.
