Blockaid has implemented its real-time threat detection system into the Stellar blockchain and plans to expand the technology further. The initial rollout will be supported by non-custodial wallets such as Lobstr and Freighter.
Similar to traditional antivirus software but designed for decentralized apps, Blockaid’s tools notify users when interacting with suspicious tokens, transactions, or Web3 applications before they finalize their actions.

Since early 2024, Blockaid has signed multiple partnerships, including collaborations with Coinbase Wallet and 1inch DEX. Analysts note that Stellar’s blockchain shows great potential for DeFi growth, making heightened security measures essential.
Blockaid’s Web3 security technology, trusted by Coinbase, Stellar, and Metamask, has scanned over 4.5 billion transactions, prevented more than 100 million attacks, and defended against potential losses exceeding $4 billion,
said Blockaid CEO Ido Ben Natan.
Stellar’s latest milestone includes the launch of the EURT stablecoin—a collaborative effort between Next Generation and Decta, fully compliant with MiCA regulations, enabling its trading across licensed European crypto platforms.
