Notcoin, a Tap-to-Earn Telegram game based on the TON blockchain, has launched the Earn Program to enable users to earn passive income by holding tokens in their Telegram wallets.
With this step, Notcoin aims to encourage user participation in a simple way without staking or moving their funds.
Users can earn rewards from different token pools, including NOT and DOGS. Notcoin told The Block that for now rewards are distributed only to the top 100,000 holders in a pool.
Next to the main pool, Notcoin also introduced exclusive ones for Gold, Platinum, and Early Notcoin Stakers.
Token holders need to request access to the pools. Their wallet balance will be checked automatically and in case they meet requirements, users will start getting rewards.
Notcoin is among the top Telegram games. It was created in 2023 and launched officially in early 2024. The project soon gained popularity and currently has more than 900 million users, according to the team.
The app launched its native token NOT on May 16, 2024. At the time of writing, NOT trades at around $0.008 with more than $832 million market cap.
Telegram apps, such as Notcoin, integrate blockchain and cryptocurrency features into the messaging app providing new ways to interact with digital assets.
