With this, the Pudgy Penguin NFT cost surpassed Bitcoin’s, which currently trades at around $100,700.

In the last 7 days, Pudgy Penguins’ trading volume increased by more than 370%, and the sales grew by 210%.
The new ATH followed the news about the collection’s PENGU coin upcoming airdrop. On December 6, 2024, the NFT collection announced that PENGU would be launched by the end of 2024 with 88 billion tokens to be airdropped to NFT owners. PENGU will have a total supply of 88,888,888,888 and will launch on the Solana blockchain.
Besides Pudgy Penguins, other NFT collections have also seen increased activity. Data from CoinGecko shows that the market cap of NFTs stands above $9.6 billion at the moment, while trading volume is above $55 million, a 15.2% and 72.6% increase, respectively.
