Back on November 1, 2010, an artist known as bitboy (not to be confused with Ben Armstrong) unveiled their take on the Bitcoin logo at the Bitcointalk forum.
As of today, this particular logo is the globally recognized symbol of Bitcoin.
Before this design was adopted, Bitcoin used a logo proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto himself in February 2010.
Taking a creative leap, bitboy transformed the original gold coin design into the now-famous orange circle, tilting the «₿» logo by a subtle 14% clockwise.
