Financial company COCA, in partnership with Wirex, has introduced a new non-custodial MPC wallet. It boasts multiple keys for enhanced control and includes support for a debit card, effectively creating a decentralized banking card for seamless payments at various terminals.
The company promises a hassle-free experience with no identity verification (KYC) requirements. Additionally, users can enjoy free cryptocurrency exchanges and the convenience of using a debit card, including the ability to withdraw cash worldwide with some limitations. There are also plans to introduce euro payment support down the road.
As of now, this card is exclusively available in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA). However, it remains unclear how COCA plans to address regulatory challenges related to KYC, particularly in light of their ambition to incorporate traditional banking services into their app, including support for fiat currencies.
