The Czech Republic has the highest number of such entities (9,372), but about 83% of these are people, not companies. ТHence, the country is often separately categorized in overall rankings to avoid conflating data. Additionally, the Czech government has not yet released its data for 2023.
Poland holds the second position with over 1,000 cryptocurrency companies. However, the upcoming enforcement of the MiCA law could significantly alter the landscape, as the current VASP license does not ensure the automatic acquisition of the new, updated permit.
