Karpeles highlighted that EllipX would be fully compliant with the MiCA legislation and emphasized his personal involvement in addressing the technical aspects of the platform. His plans include implementing open legal management and establishing distinct departments for various functions, such as trading, storage, and brokerage services.
He mentioned that the structural model of the new platform resembles that of the New York Stock Exchange, where the trading organization and brokers are distinct entities. Moreover, Karpeles intends to make the technical infrastructure fully transparent to users, hoping that this approach will serve as a model for other market participants.
