Flowdesk, a French cryptocurrency service provider founded three years ago, has successfully raised $50 million in a recent funding round, with Cathay Innovation being the major investor.
The company plans to reinvest the capital in scaling its infrastructure and bolstering its workforce, already boasting close to a hundred professionals. A key goal for the leadership is to fast-track licensing endeavors to make strategic entries into the markets of the USA and Singapore.
“We are at the forefront of regulatory compliance and transparency. We think this is something that is very important and that needs to be brought to the crypto space to avoid the mistakes that have been made in the past,” stated Guilhem Chaumont, CEO of Flowdesk.
Flowdesk had previously attracted investments from major players like the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase and the private investment company Eurazeo. However, the CEO remains tight-lipped about the company's current valuation.
