Crypto is here to stay—that’s become very clear with the launch of a slew of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds,
said Stewart.
Her tenure at the SEC spanned about eight years. More notably, in June 2023, Stewart was at the forefront of a lawsuit against Coinbase and participated in legal actions against Ripple concerning the classification of the XRP token as a security.
White & Case, a globally recognized law firm, boasted a gross income of $2.8 billion in 2022. The firm praised Stewart's rich regulatory experience in the context of the growing attention on the crypto sector.
