GRVT, a hybrid crypto exchange that merges the advantages of centralized and decentralized platforms, is set to become the first “hyperchain” in the zkSync ecosystem.
Developed by Matter Labs, GRVT will operate as a Layer 3 Validium in the zkSync ecosystem, which allows for off-chain data storage, enhancing security against front-running and market manipulation. It aims to achieve transaction speeds of up to 600,000 trades per second.
The platform is expected to launch its closed alpha version next month and go live on mainnet in Q1 of next year.
