This incident serves as a wake-up call for us to double down on security measures to ensure the foundational safety of the AI x Web3 ecosystem,
NFPrompt stated.
The project team has sought assistance from security platforms such as SlowMist and Chainalysis, and even reached out to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to track the assets and apprehend the culprits. The developers have also requested both centralized and decentralized trading platforms to suspend transactions involving their token.
Furthermore, NFPrompt has advised all users to avoid interacting with NFP tokens, especially those from unverified sources, to prevent potential legal issues. This caution comes as the stolen funds have been marked as fraudulent, and any outgoing transaction may be considered complicit.
