According to crypto investigator ZachXBT, Sahil Arora, a promoter of numerous celebrity coins, earned approximately $3 million throughout 2024.
Another source (Bubblemaps) estimated Arora's earnings at about $26.4 million. However, ZachXBT disputes this figure, arguing it is likely overstated due to the low liquidity and waning public interest in celebrity coins, making it difficult to find sufficient buyers without affecting the price negatively.
Arora has launched tokens for various celebrities, including Floyd Mayweather, Caitlyn Jenner, Iggy Azalea, Jason Derulo, Amber Rose, and Lil Pump, among others. He offered them compensation for promoting the tokens, while profiting from their sales.
Most of these celebrity coins quickly depreciated. Arora is now under suspicion within the community for possible involvement in fraudulent activities, insider trading, and organizing pump-and-dump schemes.
