The gaming-focused crypto project Immutable has launched its L2 network, Immutable zkEVM, on mainnet. This network functions independently from the existing StarkEx-based solution.
Immutable zkEVM was developed in partnership with Polygon, a collaboration announced back in March last year.
Notably, the network promises an improved gaming experience with the added benefit, offering gas-free functionality for gamers.
Currently in its early access mode, the blockchain is primarily accessible to select game studios for deploying specialized smart contracts at the outset. Interested parties, however, are invited to apply for the waiting list.
