Arbitrum's new proposal calls
for $2 million to fund a coalition of various analytics firms such as
Trail of Bits, Gauntlet and Blockworks Research to conduct a 12-month
project management audit.
For
instance, Trail of Bits is poised to receive $800,000 for 32 weeks of
work, while Blockworks Research is slated for $780,000 across just 13
weeks, which translates to an hourly wage of $375 for an employee.
Some users view
this as an unacceptable and essentially a raid on the treasury assets.
Despite significant uproar on social media, the proposal currently has
the backing of 56.36% of users.
