Phantom Wallet has announced its latest update, introducing support for Bitcoin, Ordinals, and BRC-20 tokens. This new feature is currently available in a beta version, which users can activate through the wallet's settings.
Originally a Solana-focused wallet, Phantom had to diversify its offerings amidst the declining popularity of Solana in the bear market. In response to changing market demands, Phantom broadened its horizons by incorporating Ethereum support.
“Without Bitcoin, there’d be no Solana, Ethereum, or web3. And for that, we’re forever grateful for Bitcoin and thrilled to launch it (in ₿eta) on Phantom,” the project stated on X.
