The fake Blockworks site presents a fabricated ‘BREAKING’ news report, alleging a multimillion-dollar ‘approvals exploit’ on Uniswap.
It then redirects users to a bogus Etherscan website, which is actually a wallet-draining trap, pressuring them to revoke approvals.
These scammers went further by sharing counterfeit Uniswap news articles on Reddit within crypto-related subreddits.
