We’re very aware of the challenges that the rapidly evolving AI world poses to human identity verification,
says Civic's team.
Previously, Civic’s identity verification relied solely on a non-fungible token (NFT) obtained from their platform. This new physical card complements the NFT, incorporating unique security features such as laser etching and optical variable inks.
With this development, some entities may now ask for both forms of verification, further minimizing fraud chances. The card can be ordered in more than 190 countries via an authorized distributor and is compatible with leading applications and services, including Gitcoin Passport and Polygon ID.
