Top NFT Photographers

Top NFT Photographers

In the world of unique tokens, there are many talented artists, but NFT photographers are still relatively unknown. This creative niche remains largely unexplored.

On this page

If you have the urge to create your own token but lack drawing or painting skills, why not try making NFT photos? Success in this hobby can bring you both recognition from thousands of fans and a worthy reward from collectors.

But before you start, take a closer look at the most in-demand creators on marketplaces. Read their posts, check out their works, evaluate the style and themes of their photos. Perhaps studying the work of others will serve as a catalyst for your own desire to create.

We've put together a selection of the most interesting NFT photographers for you to explore.

Justin Aversano

Justin Aversano is a co-founder of the American trading platform Quantum Art, which specializes in the sale of NFT photography. In addition, Justin is a co-founder of SaveArtSpace, a non-profit organization that showcases works of art in public places. His collections have brought millions of dollars to buyers on secondary NFT markets.

To create digital objects, Justin uses the technique of free associations and layering of elements from sculpture, painting, and portrait photography. However, there are many works that he does not tokenize. These are mostly portraits of ordinary city dwellers. Aversano is a humanist and believes in the equality of all living beings before death. Therefore, his portraits more often depict random passersby rather than stars: old people, teenagers, and couples in love.

Cath Simard

Cath Simard is a pioneer in NFT photography and a traveler at heart. Although born and based in Canada, she spends the majority of her life on the road. Cath's genre of choice is landscape photography, and most of her work features unique natural scenes from places like Nepal, Peru, Iceland, and New Zealand. Her artistic style blends reality and fiction in composite photography.

Cath isn't what you'd call a prolific creator. She sells fewer than 10 tokenized pieces a year because she devotes a lot of time to carefully editing her photographs, which transform into full-fledged works of art. On the SuperRare platform, Cath's cheapest NFT photograph goes for 7 ETH, while the most expensive sells for a whopping 100 ETH.

José Ramos

José Ramos is a landscape photographer from Portugal who also happens to be a psychiatrist. He has been professionally pursuing photography for 18 years and his work has been featured in National Geographic and other international photo magazines.

Ramos' images and accompanying narratives focus on the relationship between humans and nature. His photography explores themes of ecology, mindfulness, spirituality, emotion, and contemplation.

He started tokenizing his work two years ago and has been exhibiting them on platforms like SuperRare and OpenSea. Buyers believe that his photos have a healing effect, and the photographer himself likens his hobby to a psychotherapeutic session.

You can check out Jose Ramos' complete collection of photographs on his official website.

Guido DiSalle

Guido DiSalle is a highly sought-after NFT photographer from Canada, known for his distinct 80s style. His work has fetched prices of 50 ETH or more. DiSalle's artistic journey began when he first picked up a camera in 1982. After 33 years of honing his skills as a hair stylist in the TV, fashion, and hair industry, he shifted his focus to creating art through digital, photography, painting, and collage work. DiSalle's art is driven by one simple rule: to create iconic imagery of cool people, places, and things.

However, we would describe Guido's NFT photography style as “brutal fashion.” You can see for yourself by checking out his token collection on SuperRare. His complete catalog of work can be found here

Dave Krugman

Dave Krugman is a Brooklyn-based photographer who was one of the first to tokenize genre-specific street photos. His main areas of focus are urban landscapes, architecture, cityscapes, and transportation. He exhibits his work on OpenSea and Nifty Gateway in the mid-price range.

DRIVE is a collection of NFT photographs that includes 111 cars captured over 10 years of street photography.

You can also follow Dave on Instagram to stay updated on his latest work.

Any photo can be turned into an irreplaceable token, but it must evoke an emotional response to be successful. You don't necessarily need to be a professional photographer or have a large social media following to achieve this. All you need is to be observant, creative, and always carry a good camera with you.

One such amateur who has captured admiration is Artem Humilevskyi, who was the subject of one of our previous articles. He launched his digital project on NFT sales platforms and was able to not only earn money from it but also help Ukrainian volunteers.
