Bitcoin Core’s most active developer is leaving the project
Marco Falke, the top technical advisor and creator of a large number of Bitcoin Core commits, is reportedly preparing to transition out of his role.

He will be the sixth developer to step down from maintaining the fork. Perhaps Okcoin, the exchange that funds the development team, has reduced their compensation, though Falke says that being a maintainer no longer suits him.
