Researchers at ESET have raised the alarm about a new form of malware affecting Telegram and Whatsapp that allows hackers to steal cryptocurrency.

The Trojan is designed to replace the wallet addresses that a victim sends in their messages with those belonging to the attacker.
Additionally, hackers have mastered optical character recognition to extract text from screenshots and steal seed phrases. There is also the risk of remote access attacks for those who give access to their computer.
