Musk withdrew the lawsuit without prior notice, and neither party has commented on the matter. This development followed Musk’s criticism of Apple the previous day, for its collaboration with OpenAI on new AI features, which he claimed could compromise the privacy of iPhone users.
Additionally, Musk is the founder of xAI, an AI company that stands as a direct competitor to OpenAI. xAI recently attracted $6 billion in funding from notable investors including Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, and others.
