FTX Launches Website for Compensation Claims
FTX has introduced a website where users can provide details related to their FTX or Blockfolio accounts and potentially receive refunds in the future.
On this page
The portal is specifically for customers who held accounts with FTX.com, FTX.us, Blockfolio, FTX EU, FTX JP, and crypto exchange Liquid. As per a U.S. court ruling last month, customers must submit their claims by September 29.
Upon visiting the website, users will be directed to the Kroll Restructuring Administration platform to confirm their balances as of the Petition Date and, if necessary, submit an electronic proof of claim.
The deadline for submitting applications is September 29, 2023. Following the announcement, the FTT token saw a significant 23% increase in value.
Earlier this year, John Ray III, the newly appointed CEO of FTX overseeing the exchange’s bankruptcy process, hinted at the potential revival of the struggling exchange. While plans for an FTX 2.0 reboot have not been confirmed, previous filings indicate Ray’s involvement in items related to “2.0,” and he has stated that “everything is on the table.”
