across various blockchains, including Arbitrum, Ethereum, Polygon,
Optimism, and Base.
Prior to the attack, the hacker left a message on the blockchain expressing interest in negotiations with the KyberSwap team:
“Dear
Kyberswap Developers, Employees, DAO members, and LPs, negotiations
will start in a few hours when I am fully rested. Thank you.”
KyberSwap proposed a deal:
“You
have executed one of the most sophisticated hack. Everyone missed it.
You can return 90% of the funds by 6 AM UTC on November 25th, or remain
on the run.”
