as the CEO of OpenAI following a mutually agreed resolution, with
details yet to be disclosed. Greg Brockman, a co-founder of OpenAI who
had earlier stepped down alongside Altman, is also set to return.
This reinstatement will bring changes to OpenAI's board of directors,
previously involved in Altman's ousting. The revamped board will include
Bret Taylor, Larry Summers, and Adam D'Angelo.

in service of keeping this team and its mission together. when i
decided to join msft on sun evening, it was clear that was the best path
for me and the team. with the new board and w satya’s support, i’m
looking forward to returning to openai, and building on our strong
partnership with msft,” Sam wrote on X.
